Processor / Underwriter / Contract Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Processor. The Processor will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing transactions involving the sale of accounts receivable or structured settlement payments. This role requires strong data entry skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completes timely processing contracts and accurate data entry of information provided by clients who wish to sell their accounts receivable or structured settlement payments.

  • Gather, review, and prepare documentation from clients, including contracts and legal documents related to structured settlements.

  • Verify the authenticity and accuracy of client-provided information, ensuring that all documentation is complete and meets company requirements.

  • Communicate with clients to clarify discrepancies, obtain additional information, perform lien searches, order credit checks, or provide updates on the status of their transactions.

  • Handle various administrative tasks related to transaction processing, such as filing paperwork, maintaining records, and generating reports.

  • Work closely with underwriters to facilitate the underwriting process, including assisting with due diligence and providing necessary documentation.

  • Understand specific requirements driven by each State’s business practices and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the transaction processing lifecycle.

  • Perform pre-reviews for deals before contracts go out to ensure they follow our enrollment guidelines, deal is setting up the client for success, and identify any outstanding items to confirm with the client before they sign.

  • Review the contract details to ensure it was completed correctly and matches how the deal is set up in our CRM.

  • Responsible for using discretion and complying with customer privacy policies during file review and while accessing search databases.

  • Resolving broken settlements with creditors via phone and email.

  • Assist Negotiations in locking down creditor settlements.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in structured settlement, contract administration, or loan processing strongly preferred.

  • Previous experience in data entry or administrative support considered.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.

  • Knowledge of accounts receivable financing or structured settlement factoring is a major plus, but not required.

Earning potential:  $30,000-$75,000 (base salary + commission)
